I met Emma in the Fall of 2022 for her family's portrait session. I can't say enough about Emma and her family, they were fun, and up for anything. We had a great shoot, and I was looking forward to Spring when I did Emma's senior portrait shoot ( because, voila! her braces would be coming off in the Spring!)
Emma really wanted some wild flowers, and I am convinced that if we could have just waited a few weeks, I could have found her some wild flowers, but, unfortunately, it seemed the only prolific growing "wild flowers" were dandelions.
I referred Emma to "my field", the field never lets me down, location wise, but, I wasn't sure if Emma wanted to go from colorful flowers to a seemingly dull field....however, Emma was cool and up for anything. She said the words that every photographer worth her camera wants to hear, and that is, "I trust you".
Emma did her own make-up and chose a very natural, minimal look ( which, by the way, apparently this is actually starting to trend with senior girls), she also brought the cutest little dresses that were PERFECT for the location, even if she did have to wear her winter coat between shots as it was barely in the mid 50's.
So, thanks for trusting me, Emma, I loved working with you and your mom ( lots of respect between these two women), and I love your pictures. <3
